The Opportunity
Implementation of 4 independent pre-structured greenfield projects in Brazil: photovoltaic plants in regions with great photovoltaic potential, which will total 8 plants and more than 18MWp of power generation.
Having already established offtaker agreements with large listed clients with excellent credit ratings, to meet their energy consumption needs, the return-on-investment has been precisely scheduled.
Summary of projects:
About the company:
The company
Th company which specializes in clean energy has professionals with more than 30 years of experience in energy services in Brazil. Their team develops photovoltaic power plant projects and provides their implementation. Their aim is to reduce the costs of electricity of the contracting companies with which they have PPA agreements. The generate energy will be distributed through the well-regulated electricity grid.
Current industry scenario:
Power generation through renewable sources has doubled in recent years, and with the volatility of prices from conventional energy sources, the trend of solar energy use is increasing.
The clean energy sector is a huge global market, with a growth potential of $600 billion according to the International Energy Agency (IEA). In Brazil, according to the Statistical Yearbook of Electric Energy 2020 of the Energy Research Company (EPE), solar energy was the fastest growing energy source in 2019. This sector is likely to see sustained growth in the coming years, as organizations are increasingly focused on adopting a future of sustainable development.
About the projects:
The power plants are in regions with high photovoltaic potential and the areas will be under a loan contract. It will be a distributed solar power generation system that will have pre-determined clients for the direct purchase of energy (offtaker agreement), which brings full security to the investor and the client.
The company will also take care of the entire process from the implementation, to operations and the maintenance of the projects.
Earning potential:
Enertech The Company seeks an investor (financial or strategic) to fund the CAPEX to implement the photovoltaic plants. Their objective is to maintain a minority stake in the SPE ("Free Equity").
Therefore, in addition to the benefits of cheaper energy costs, since solar energy is renewable and clean, this investment will bring extremely positive visuals to the investor.
